BPCC Visit Fair Havens
On Saturday 28th February, a large group of our members travelled to Fair Havens nursing home in Southampton. One of our past members, Geoff is now a resident and we decided to visit him and his fellow residents for a singalong.
We had a really lovely morning with the residents and their families where we sang some of our favourite songs we’ve learnt and then had a singalong to some old favourites.
Christmas Concert 2025
Wednesday 17th December 2025 – We all had a fantastic time sharing the songs we had learned during the year with our family and friends. Thanks to donations received for tea, coffee and cakes we raised £1,000 for Southampton City Mission’s food bank which operates out of The Old Chemist in the Triangle.
Early January, we hit the shops and, over three weeks, bought food and delivered directly to the wonderful volunteers at the food bank.
Thank you to our choir friends Cate, Sandy, Anne and Margaret who volunteer each week at the food bank and help those in need in our local area.
Christmas in the Triangle
Bitterne Park Community Choir supported ‘Christmas in the Triangle’ once again on Saturday 20th December 2026. After singing a handful of our favourites from the year we turned our attention to some traditional carols to get the Christmas spirit flowing.
It was a fantastic afternoon in the Triangle which was topped off by a performance by the Southampton Ukele Jam who got the large crowd dancing and singing.
